My mom got remarried Saturday, to John, a really terrific guy she met at her church. The ceremony was really beautiful, and the reception was really fun! We had a whole week full of out-of-town relatives and fun times! My sister, Michelle came in to town first, and I was so excited to see her! She and her husband, my mom, and everyone came up to my house for a gourmet hamburger bar, and it was really good! The rest of the week, the girls and I drove down to Salt Lake every day to see everyone and help out with the wedding stuff! I made wedding cookie favors for the rehearsal dinner and for the wedding, and they turned out really great! The rehearsal dinner was at Trio Cafe, and was quite delicious! The wedding itself was just right - not too long, and everything was beautiful and meaningful! Jason played a trumpet and organ duet of "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring." I played a violin and viola trio with my sisters of "Humoresque" by Dvorak, and I also sang "Always" by Irving Berlin. My girls were flower girls, and they were so cute! After the ceremony, we went to Heritage House for the reception. There was a buffet, and DJ music and dancing, and of course toasting and cake! My mom and John left right after for their honeymoon. Many of the relatives stayed in town a few more days after, so we went up to my mom's house Monday and made a spinach lasagna, garlic rolls, and creme brulee for everyone who was left.
My beautiful little flower girls!

Their dresses were so puffy! It was just fun! I secretly wished I had one too...
