Easter!

We went to the mall yesterday and there was the Easter bunny! Lizzy was not afraid at all. She ran up to him and shook his hand and said, "Hi Easter bunny, hi!" He gave her a packet of skittles and then she and Rachel sat on his lap for a picture. Rachel wasn't too happy about it, and Lizzy wouldn't smile for the camera, but oh well. Here's our best shot.

First Word?

Rachel recently started saying "nuh, nuh!" when she wants to nurse - I think she's really trying to say "nurse"! Last night, at 3 am, she woke up and I tried to appease her with a pacifier. She pulled it out of her mouth and threw it away and said, "nnnuh! nnnnuh!" So, I nursed her and then she went back to sleep. Does it count as a first word? Rachel is 8 months old today. Unbelievable! Here is a video of her and Lizzy playing.

Children's Museum!

We went to the children's museum at the gateway in SLC with great grandma - Lizzy had so much fun! She loved each exhibit. Her favorites were the water flow exhibit, the farm exhibit (especially the chickens) and the air flow exhibit, where you could put tissues into an air tunnel and watch them fly. Rachel wasn't too excited about it, but she was well behaved the whole time. I forgot to bring my camera, so I could only take phone pictures. Low quality, but here they are.

Visit With Great Grandparents

My Grandpa and Grandma from Florida have come to visit us this week. The girls are having lots of fun playing with great grandpa and great grandma! Life will be boring after they go back home on Tuesday! They arrived Thursday night, and so the girls and I went down to my mom's house to see everyone on Friday. (Unfortunately, Friday was the start of Jason's week on at work, so he has had to miss a lot of the action!) We hung out with them all day, and then had dinner. On Saturday, everyone came up to Syracuse to our house, and we watched "Kung Fu Panda" which my sister Michelle had brought, and had dinner. Today (Sunday) the girls and I are going down to my mom's again, and Monday, Grandma and the girls and I will go to the children's museum. On Tuesday, they go back to Florida. I hope they had a great trip - we have sure enjoyed having them visit!
